Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and DBOpt AI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the DBOpt AI platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

⚠️ Important: By using DBOpt AI, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

Our Services

DBOpt AI provides an AI-powered database intelligence platform that includes:

  • 22 comprehensive database analysis features across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MariaDB
  • AI-driven optimization recommendations and security audits
  • Performance monitoring and workload analysis
  • Compliance checking (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC2)
  • Automated reporting and export capabilities

User Accounts

Account Registration

To use DBOpt AI, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Note: We recommend enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) and using a strong, unique password for your account security.

Subscription & Billing

Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. A payment method is required, but you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.

Subscription Plans

After the trial, subscriptions auto-renew at the selected billing interval:

Payment Terms

  • All fees are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
  • Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use DBOpt AI for any of the following prohibited activities:

Illegal Activities:

Any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law

Unauthorized Access:

Attempting to access databases, systems, or data you don't have permission to access

Abuse & Harassment:

Harassing, threatening, or impersonating others

Resource Abuse:

Excessive use that degrades service performance for others

Reverse Engineering:

Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code

⚠️ Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Limitations of Liability & Disclaimers

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DBOPT AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Important: DBOpt AI provides analysis and recommendations but does not make direct changes to your databases. You are responsible for reviewing and implementing any suggested changes.

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or through your account settings. Upon termination, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Fail to pay applicable fees
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Pose a security risk to our service or other users

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. We may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy, typically within 90 days of termination.
